Strata Smoke Alarm Repairs After the Annual Check
The annual check finds the failed alarms. I fix them: expired, chirping or dead smoke and CO alarms replaced suite by suite across the Lower Mainland, flat $99.99 service fee plus the alarm from $64.99 installed, with a dated record for every suite.
What happens after the check flags an alarm?
Someone has to replace it, and quickly. I take the flagged list from the council or property manager, book the suites, replace or repair each alarm with Kidde or BRK / First Alert units, test it, and take the old alarm away. You get a dated, per-unit record for the strata file.
What does it cost?
- Single suite: $99.99 service fee plus the alarm at its installed price (smoke-only from $64.99, smoke and CO combos from $89.99). Seniors and veterans save 10%.
- Several suites or the whole building: volume rates by quote, based on unit count and access, with one consolidated invoice.
The published prices are on the installation cost page.

- Visits run 10am to 8pm, seven days a week, evenings and weekends included, so tenants and owners can be home.
